It’s so easy to get angry, frustrated, discouraged, depressed and lose motivation when things start to spiral downhill in our lives. Then all of a sudden our progress is halted.
Life is hard and “blah” days do happen. It is ONLY because of our relationship with God that we can truly enjoy life amidst the chaos that surrounds us.
Not only do we need to trust God to do what He says He will do, but we also need to remember to acknowledge Him in all that we do.
The bible is depicted as being outdated, fictional, having little value, and to some, completely irrelevant. The sad part, is that those of us who profess to be Christians are adapting to that same line of thinking, without even realizing it.
Where is God in your plans? Is He a priority? Does He even make the list? Is your spiritual growth even a concern? Have you included Him in any of your planning?
If there is one thing I’ve learned in my own personal walk with God, its how important it is to celebrate success throughout your Christian journey.
The bible says, “these three remain: faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love”. But, what does this love look like? How are the characteristics of true love displayed?
Sometimes we get to a place in our Christian journey, that in order to move forward or take that next step, we need to look back at where God has brought us from.
Learning to react with prayer instead of worry is not something that happens overnight. But, it is something that every Christian has the capability to do, with the help and power of the Holy Spirit.
I mean really, what is the bible? What makes it so special, relevant and vital? Why is it different from any other book ever produced in history?
